Area9 Rhapsode™ is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We typically use the AWS Frankfurt Region.
In terms of physical locations of the regions we use for AWS, in most cases, it's the Frankfurt region. In large part, we host there because it's as central as we can get for our customers in Europe and North America (vs MENA and Asia Pac). Additionally, Germany is a GDPR heavy country so hosting all of our data there is a plus when it comes to organizations inquiring about data privacy/security. We do not have customers experiencing latency etc with the hosting in Frankfurt vs a region based in the states or elsewhere.
